The Department of General Services has uncovered that a state mail vendor failed to deliver an unknown amount of mail meant for Pennsylvania residents.
This could include important notices about benefits, renewals, hearings, PennDOT and other state services.
DGS has cut ties with the vendor and hired a new contractor to immediately process and send the backlog. All undelivered mail is expected to go out early next week as the state works to assess the full impact and adjust deadlines for affected residents.
