Causer, Dush Announce Funding for Keating Township Transportation Projects
HARRISBURG – Rep. Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter) and Sen. Cris Dush (R-25) today announced more than $914,500 in funding for two transportation projects in Keating Township, McKean County.
The township was awarded $400,000 for reconstruction of the Bordell Road Bridge and $514,523 for reconstruction of Reilly Hollow Road.
“I’m glad to support these critical infrastructure projects that are so important for the safety and quality of life of folks living in and traveling through the township,” Causer said. “I’m pleased to see this much-needed funding being directed to our rural communities.”
“Keating Township has received significant funding that will be used to offset the financial burden residents would have otherwise felt for these critical infrastructure upgrades,” Dush said. “With so many families struggling with ever-rising costs and inflation, both of these projects will greatly improve highway safety, while keeping traffic and commerce flowing for McKean County residents and local businesses.”
The grants were awarded through the Multimodal Transportation Fund administered by the Commonwealth Financing Authority. The fund was created to encourage economic development and ensure that a safe and reliable system of transportation is available to the residents of the commonwealth.
