Cameron County Conservation District
The May Hollow 13 acid mine drainage treatment system was recently completed.
This system is the 8th constructed in May Hollow, Portable Run, and Finley Run, and is one of the final pieces of the puzzle to a complete restoration of the Sterling Run watershed.
This work has very quickly brought the aquatic life back to the Sterling Run drainage.
Thanks goes out to Lyme Timber for funding the project, JReam Engineering Consultants for the design, and Northpoint Contracting for the construction.
