Aaralyn Robinson, a junior at Cameron County High School, was the winner of the local Emporium Rotary Club’s 4 Way Test Speech Contest.
Aaralyn’s speech addressed the importance of improving the foster care system. A requirement of the speech contest is to apply the Rotary’s 4 Way Test questions: Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendships? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The use of each element of the test was used to prove that the foster system needs to be amended. Rotarian Gary Boden presented Aaralyn $100 and a participation certificate. The Emporium Rotary club wishes Aaralyn good luck as she advances to the Regional Contest held in March/April.
