Driftwood Saloon & Grill
Thank you to everyone who came to this year's Mushroom Fest event.
This was the largest event to date, with 163 people in attendance.
Bill Russell was back this year to give the presentation and there was even a Mushroom Cultivation expert on hand, Kevin Hoover, VP of The Central PA Mushroom Club. It was a beautiful day for the walk and talk that was led by Jim Moser, a mushroom enthusiast. There were different species of mushrooms that were found and brought back to the Saloon for identification. The cooks prepared 3 different types of mushrooms for those in attendance to sample. Hen, chicken and shrimp of the woods. Congratulations to Robin Skull for taking 1st place in our Mushroom soup cook-off.
Thank you Bill, Gerry, Kevin, Jim, John, Chris and the Driftwood Saloon staff for helping in making this event a success.
