Bonnie Lee (Frey) Blair, 71, of Emporium, passed peacefully at Pinecrest Manor in St. Mary's, Pa. on October 14, 2023, after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Bonnie, a graduate of Penn Manor High School, class of 1970, was born on May 20, 1952, in Lancaster County, to the late Carl and Betty Long Frey. She was also preceded in death by her sister, B. Jane Frey.
She is survived by four sisters, Carol Zook, Vickie Mock, Sheila Montgomery, and Debbie Rutter as well as two brothers, Carl Strubel and Robert Frey, Jr.
Bonnie made many friends while working at Olivette's in Emporium, now known as Emporium Food Store. Those friends never knew what to expect from Bonnie with her funny, crazy demeanor.
As a young girl Bonnie became interested in horses and riding. Her love of animals, including her dogs, never faded. She also loved classic cars, country music, reading, yard sales, and shopping at Goodwill.
There will be no service or funeral as per her wishes.
In leu of flowers monetary donations should be made to Teacher's Pet Rescue in Coudersport, Pa.
