James B. Miller

James B. Miller, 95, of 110 Lindenwood Dr., Emporium, PA passed away at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Monday morning (June 20, 2022). He was born April 2, 1927 in Emporium, PA a son of the late Frank and Mildred Faucett Miller. In the Emmanuel Episcopal Church he married the late Carol Minard.

Jim served as a school administrator for Cameron County School District for many years. Jim was a very active member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church and served on the vestry and was a lay reader. He was involved and served on many boards including the Emporium Foundation, Emporium Rotary Club where he was a Paul Harris Fellow, served on the Emporium Trust Company Board of Directors, FNB board of directors, Northwest Bank advisory board, Guy and Mary Felt Manor board of directors, Newton Cemetery board, South Park Playground president, and also served as a secretary of the Cameron County School Board. -Fix and Enter any more info here-

He is survived by a daughter, Sandy Bresslin; son, Jack Miller; son, Dale Miller (Joann); daughter, Beth Newhouse (Doug), all of Emporium; twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

In addition to his parents and wife Jim was preceded in death by A sister, Marjorie Miller Hayes and three brothers, Jack, Harry and Robert Miller.

Visitation with tribute video will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-5 PM. Burial Service with Eucharist will be celebrated at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 144 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Friday (June 24, 2022) at 11:00 AM with Father Matthew Ryan officiating.

A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.

A private burial service will be held at a later date at the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Guy & Mary Felt Manor, 110 East 4th Street, Emporium or to Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 136 E. 4th Street or to Newton Cemetery Association, PO Box 251, or to Rotary Club of Emporium or the Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library, 27 W. 4th St., PO Box 430, Emporium, PA 15834
