Dustin W. “Dut” Earle

 

Dustin W. “Dut” Earle, 40, of Emporium, a former longtime resident of Austin, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022.

Born on Monday, November 2, 1981 in Coudersport, he was a son of Richard E. “Dick” and Sheila S. Houghtaling Earle. On September 3, 2004 in Emporium, he married Crystal M. Carlson, who survives.

Dustin was a 2001 graduate of Austin High School. He was employed as a die setter at Emporium Powdered Metals in Emporium for 20+ years.

He was a varsity football coach for the Cameron County High School Red Raiders. Dustin enjoyed fishing, hunting, and camping. His greatest love was his children.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife; his mother of Austin; six children, Renee L. Earle, Kyle W. Earle, Trinity M. Earle, Amber N. Earle, Jacob S. Earle, and William J. Earle, all at home; four siblings, Richard “Skinner” (Angela) Earle of Austin, Richard “Richie” (Jan) Earle of Edinboro, Deanna (Chris) Bush of Austin, and Justin (Megan) Earle of Millerton; a sister-in-law, Beth Carlson of Emporium; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his father, Dustin was predeceased by two brothers, Richard J. “Rick” Earle and David W. “Sam” Earle.

A celebration of Dustin’s life will be held on a date, time and place to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cameron County Varsity Football Team, PO Box 45, Emporium, PA 15834.

Dustin’s family has entrusted his care and cremation arrangements to Kevin J. Dusenbury, funeral director/owner of the Virgil L. Howard Funeral Home, Shinglehouse.
