Brenda L. Leithner, 55, of Ridgway, died on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Penn Highlands DuBois.
She was born on January 20, 1966, in Emporium, PA, a daughter of Eugene "Gene" House of St. Marys and the late Marie Gibble House.
Brenda was Methodist by faith and a graduate of Cameron County High School. An artistic and gentle soul, Brenda loved painting and writing. She was also an animal lover who enjoyed horseback riding. Brenda was a sweet, loving, and kind person who was a wonderful mother and grandmother.
She is survived by three children; Michael (Diana) Leithner of Lake Worth, FL, West (Brandon) Leithner of St. Marys, and Brandi (Alexander Black) Leithner of Delaware, and by four grandchildren; Gabriel, Koalton, Aubrie, and Charlotte. She is also survived by her fiance; Aaron Lecker of Ridgway and by three sisters; Tina Peck of Erie, Valerie Worrall of Pittsburgh and Judy House of Emporium as well as by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
A Memorial Service for Brenda L. Leithner will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Lynch-Green Funeral Home with Rev. J. Tim Hoover, officiating.
Family and friends will be received at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 10:30 AM until the time of the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Elk County Humane Society.
