A little bit of CC trivia from the CC Historical Society shared by Mike Wennin
Cameron County Historical Society
In 1863, Simon Cameron, who the County was named after, donated a bell for the new County Court House. Did you know that 159 years later you hear this bell every day? It's in the clock tower of the Court House and is used by the clock to strike the hours. You can see the hammer that strikes the bell on the right in the 2nd photo.
