A memorial gathering will be held for Pete Gralla, Jr on March 27, 2021  from 2 - 4 pm at the Miller -Raffaele Post #621 VFW in Emporium 

Peter T. Gralla, Jr., 76, of 324 W. 4th St., Apt 414, Emporium, PA died at Penn Highlands-Brookville, Brookville, PA on Wednesday morning following a lengthy illness. (February 17, 2021). He was born March 25, 1944 in Niagara Falls, New York a son of the late Peter and Adeline Prosper Gralla, Sr.

Peter graduated from Dubois High School and after school served with the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He had worked at Stackpole Carbon in St. Marys for many years. He was a member of the American Legion Olkosky-Jessop Post 194, Emporium and the Miller-Raffaele Post 6221, VFW, Knights of Columbus, Emporium Council #990, and the Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge #368, Emporium. Some Peters hobbies include fishing, watching western movies and he was a very talented woodcrafter having won many fist place awards in the local county fair.

Peter is survived by his siblings Carole Richards, St. Marys; John Gralla, Texas; William (Phyllis) Moscato, Emporium and David Gralla, DuBois.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Gralla who was killed while serving with the US Army during Vietnam.
