Lois J. Gribble

 

Lois J. Gribble, 89, of Spring Street, Emporium, PA died at her residence on Wednesday morning (March 10, 2021). She was born March 10, 1932 in Emporium, PA a daughter of the late Albert and Margaret Zurflue Streich. On February 16, 1952 in Olean, NY she married the late Frank Gribble.

Lois was a homemaker all of her life. She was a very active member of the First Baptist Church in Emporium and she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by daughter, Vickie Barr and two sons, Frank (Debra) Gribble and Randy Gribble all of Emporium; five grandchildren, Carl, Allisha, Frankie, Derrick and Travis; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Virginia Stebick, Keating Summit and Judy Farren, Ridgway.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by two brothers, Herbert "Chub" and Albert "Clink" Streich, five sisters, Dorothy Streich, Kay Quigley, Charmain Donovan, Mable Gennocro, and Evelyn "Hoppy" Benedict,

There will be No Visitation. Funeral Service will be at the convenience of the family at First Baptist Church, 424 N. Broad Street, Emporium, PA with Rev. James R. Horton, Jr., officiating.

Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
