James D. Ball

 

James D. Ball, 89, of Sinnemahoning, PA died at UPMC Cole, Coudersport, PA on Friday afternoon (August 14, 2020). He was born June 25, 1931 in Sinnemahoning, PA a son of the late George L. Ball and Grace Snyder. On February 10, 1953 in Sterling Run, PA he married the late Enid J. Whiting Ball. 

Jim served with the Army's 5th R.C.T. during Korean Conflict and received a Purple Heart while serving his country. He retired from PA Department of Transportation where he worked for many years. He was a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, 5th R.C.T. Association, Driftwood-Emporium Masonic Lodge, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Shriners of North America, Mosquito Creek, Sinnemahoning and May Hollow Sportsmans Clubs. 

Jim is survived by two daughters, Judy (Frank) Armanini and Virginia (Judd) Schager, both of Emporium; two sons, Danny (Judy) Ball, and James (Diana) Ball both of Sinnamahoning; ten grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a sister, Marie (Jim) Ramarge, Emporium. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife. 

There will be No Visitation. Services were Private. 
Burial was in the Gilmore Cemetery, Austin, PA
