Bibiana N. "Bibi" Park



Bibiana N. "Bibi" Park, 87, of 496 Meadow Road, Emporium, PA
died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA on Thursday evening (January 16, 2020).
She was born January 3, 1933 in Sterling Run, PA a daughter of the late Fred and Marie Devling Summerson.
On July 10, 1954 in Emporium she married the late James Park.

Bibi graduated from Emporium High School in the class of 1949. After graduation she held many administrative secretarial positions at various companies until her retirement from The First United Methodist Church in 2018. She was a very active member of the Church and taught Sunday school from 1955 until 2016. She was a lifelong volunteer for several organizations including the American Cancer Society, Hospice, Little League Baseball and the Alumni Committee.

She is survived by two sons, Steven (Sue) Park;  Edward (Marva) Park, of Royal Palm Beach, FL; and one daughter, Rachel (Allen) Dodd, Casper WY; four grandchildren, Danielle, Austin, Kendel and James;  two great grandchildren, McKayla and Graysen; brother, Steve (Marge) Summerson, Emporium; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Bobbi (Sam) Olivett, Emporium.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Rees, three brothers, Donald, William and Robert "Jerry" Summerson and a longtime companion, Bob Jenkins.

Visitation with Video Tribute will be at the First United Methodist,  Church, 306 S Spruce St, Emporium, PA on Sunday from 2-5 PM.

Funeral Service will be held at the Church on Monday (January 20, 2020) at 2:00 PM with Rev. Joseph Short, Pastor, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 306 S. Spruce Street., Emporium, PA 15834
