Maxine M. McIsaac


Maxine M. McIsaac, 82, of Pinecrest Manor, 763 Johnsonburg Rd., St. Marys, PA formerly of Driftwood died at Penn Highlands Elk, St. Marys, PA on Thursday evening (March 7, 2019). She was born January 29, 1937 in Sinnemahoning, PA a daughter of the late Irvin L. and Celesta Fiscus Dempsey On August 24, 1957 in Castle Garden she married the late Gaylord G. McIsaac, Sr. Maxine was a homemaker most of her life. She enjoyed bingo, going to the senior center and attending church at the Down County Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Rachel Moate, Sterling Run and Mary Catalone, Emporium; two sons, Gaylord G. (Analie) McIsaac, Jr., Driftwood; and James E. McIsaac, Driftwood; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond (Cindy) Dempsey, Driftwood and Jim (Janice) Dempsey, Terre Hill, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a brother, Irvin L. Dempsey, Jr. 

Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM.

 Funeral Service will be held at the Down County Baptist Church Route 555, Driftwood, PA on Monday (March 11, 2019) at 2:00 PM with Pastor Richard Bennett, officiating.

Burial will be in the Castle Garden Cemetery, Driftwood, PA

Memorials can be made to Sinnamahoning Ambulance Association or to the Driftwood Senior Center, PO Box 99, Driftwood, PA 15832
