7/20/2018 8:00 PM CAMPFIRE &  CHILL- Join us for a campfire and chill night! This will be an evening to just enjoy nature as we gather around a fire. We will talk about the folklore and history of campfires and learn some tricks to achieve the best possible fire! Have a story? Play an instrument? Bring them along! We will also have some yummy campfire treats for you to try! There will be picnic tables available but please bring your own chair if you wish to sit by the fire. Meet at the field to the right of Pavilion #6

7/21/2018 10:00 AM MORNING MELLOW HIKE: Get your legs moving and learn all the benefits hiking has to offer. We will hike the Campground Trail, which is an easy 0.4 miles. It explores the forest behind the campground so feel free to bring along your favorite guide books, walking sticks, binoculars or nature journals. This will be a leisurely hike so we can enjoy all the sights, sounds and smells Mother Nature has to offer! So come meet us at the Campground Amphitheatre and start your day off right!

7/21/2018 1:00 PM TALK ABOUT TEAS: Come on out to the environmental learning center to sample some home brewed natural teas. Learn about the benefits of making your own teas from what you have in your garden or around your own backyard. If interested we can go for a nature walk and pick some leaves to steep ourselves when we come back.

7/21/2018 3:00 PM NATURE CRAFT & STORY: LUNA MOTH: Join us at the Environmental Learning Building as we read "A Luna Moth’s Life" and learn more about these fascinating fliers. Come on out to Pavilion # 1 horseshoe pit to join in on the fun! Afterward, we’ll try to play horseshoes the official way! Can’t wait to see you there! In case of thunder, lightning or extreme weather conditions programs may be moved or cancelled.
