On Saturday morning, November 26th L& M Lumber, Aroma CafĂ© &  Restaurant, Pizza Palace Plus, Flower N Things, Floor Master, Fox’s Pizza Den and the Cameron County Chamber will offer discounts and entice shoppers with drawings for gifts.

Each store will be assigned a song lyric. Shoppers must ask for the lyric and decipher the Christmas song. Shoppers will then be asked to sing the song at the Chamber of Commerce and be entered to win a basket full of gifts. Inside the participating stores, representatives from various companies will be on hand t sell their wares, take orders or schedule home visits.

Aroma will feature Traveling Vineyard Wines with Becca Peters, Pizza Palace will feature Laura Lehman and Pampered Chef, Ryan and Brandi Magaro will be at L& M Lumber, Jamie Kempher from Initials Inc will be at Fox’s Pizza Den,Walck Portraits will be at Flowers N Things, Wild Tree Products with Jessica Herzing wil be at Floor Masters, Pat Kempher with Perfectly Posh and Cassidy Firth from LuLaRoe will be at the Cameron County Chamber.

“The event is scheduled 9am to 1pm, but some of the participating stores may extend their hours,” says Cameron County Chamber of Commerce executive director, Tina Solak. Shopping local keeps more money in the community, then if people buy items out of town. Solak says Cameron County has a laundry list of items that can be purchased. “Melissa and Doug Toys, jewelry, candles, tools, car care products, bird houses and feed, pet toys, flower arrangements, puzzles, artwork, antiques, and clothing can all be found here.” Starting this week, the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce twitter and facebook feed will highlight gift ideas through December 10.
