A summer solstice ceremony will be held at the Patterson Cancer Care Center’s labyrinth from 4:30-5:15 p.m., June 21. Participants are welcome to attend for a mediation walk and as a way to celebrate summer. Anyone that can bring creeping thyme, are asked to do so to add to the landscape.

Charles Cole Memorial Hospital will host Grief Connection, a bereavement support group, at 7 p.m. June 28 at the Patterson Cancer Care Center. Meetings are informal and open to anyone grieving the loss of a loved one. For more information, contact facilitator June Buckler at 647-8618.

Charles Cole Memorial Hospital will hold prepared childbirth classes from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays, July 13 through August 17, at CCMH’s Wellness Center in Coudersport. The classes will outline labor, birth, postpartum, positioning and comfort measures, relaxation, labor support, communication skills, problems that may occur, anesthesia, and breastfeeding.
