Celebrate National Poetry Month with a FREE Songwriting Workshop!
April is National Poetry Month, and what better way to celebrate than by
turning poetry into song?
The Barbara Moscato Brown Memorial Library invites teens and
adults to a FREE Songwriting Workshop with Brody Bond on April 17 at 5 PM, thanks to
generous funding from the Cameron County Community Chest.
Poetry in Motion—Through Music!
Songwriting and poetry go hand in hand—both use rhythm, emotion, and storytelling to create
something powerful. Whether you’re a poet looking to add melody to your words or a music
lover hoping to find your songwriting voice, this workshop will help you overcome creative
blocks, find inspiration, and bring your ideas to life.
Led by Brody Bond, a performing songwriter from Baltimore, MD, this interactive session will
pull back the curtain on the songwriting process. Known for his thought-provoking lyrics and
emotionally rich melodies, Brody crafts songs that challenge perspectives and connect deeply
with listeners.
Now, he’s bringing his expertise to Emporium to help you explore the magic of
songwriting!
