Rotary Club of Emporium
Guest speakers for our December 12th meeting were Pat Kempher, President Cameron County Fair and Fair Queen, Elyse Umble. Pat gave some highlights on the most recent fair held in August this year. She also mentioned how certain activities were received well and requests were made for the return of them. Elyse Umble, a Cameron County student, spoke on the process of becoming a Fair Queen. Elyse will be travelling in January to Hershey to present a judged 300 word speech on "Why You Should Come to My Fair''. Elyse has plans to attend Juniata College after graduation. We thank Elyse for her dedication to our community and wish her the best of luck! Pat and Elyse were guests of Rotarian Amber Schwab.
