Stream Program and Meet the Trees Walk This Weekend at Sinnemahoning 

 Spend some time outdoors learning about the woods and waters of Pennsylvania, this weekend at Sinnemahoning State Park. 

 Underwater Wonders, Saturday, July 18, 2020, two sessions: 1:30-2:15 PM and 2:30-3:15 PM. Wade into the cool water to learn about crayfish and other creek dwellers. Goggles, nets and containers provided. All ages welcome. Parents will need to assist younger children. Limit of 12 people per session. Bring a cloth face mask. Located at the 40 Maples Day Use Area.

 Campground Movie: Ducks, Saturday, July 18, 2020, 8:30-9:30 PM. PBS Nature video "An Original Duck-umentary" features dozens of duck species as they waddle, glide, dive, and dabble their way into your heart. 60-minute campground movie. Delightful for all ages. Bring a face mask. Cancelled if rain. All are welcome. Campground amphitheater. 

 Nature Walk: Meet the Trees, Sunday, July 19, 2020, 9:00-10:15 AM. Join the new park naturalist, Nick Micsky, as you get to know the trees in your backyard and at your favorite park. Learn quick tips to identify ten common trees of Sinnemahoning, then take a short walk with Nick to practice your skills. All ages welcome. Bring a face mask. Limit of 15 people. Meet at the campground amphitheater. 

 To mitigate the potential spread of COVID-19, until further notice, all programs at Sinnemahoning State Park will be held outdoors, will be limited to 25 people or less, and will follow social-distancing guidelines. All participants must have a face mask in their possession and wear it at times when social distancing cannot be maintained. 

 To pre-register for a program, or for more information, please visit the DCNR Calendar of Events http://events.dcnr.pa.gov. If you need assistance with online registration, please call the park office 814-647-8401 and dial 0 for the front desk. 

 If you need an accommodation to participate in PA State Park activities due to a disability, please contact the park you plan to visit. With at least seven days' notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs.
