Teachers and non-formal educators, discover new ways to engage your students in science and the natural world. This fun, hands-on workshop will provide both formal and non-formal educators with activities and lesson plans to help teach the importance and science of water.
Workshop will be held Monday, November 11th, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the Wildlife Center in the classroom of the Wildlife Center at Sinnemahoning State Park.
Expect to have fun, get moving, and get outside for this workshop. Participants should be prepared for both indoor and outdoor activities, pack a lunch, and bring an extra pair of waterproof boots or shoes to get in the stream.
All participants will receive the Project WET K-8 Activity Guide, which is filled with hands-on interdisciplinary lessons and educators will receive 6.5 Act 48 hours. Cost $20 per person. Registration is required by Friday, November 8, 2019.
