Thomas R. Wilk


Thomas R. Wilk, 89, of Guy &  Mary Felt Manor, Emporium, PA formerly of Route 120 Truman died at Guy & Mary Felt Manor, on Friday morning (September 6, 2019). He was born December 12, 1929 in Cresson, PA a son of the late John and Mary Welshko Wilk. On April 18, 1953 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church, St. Marys he married the late Rose Reed Wilk.

Tom graduated from Cresson High School in the class of 1949. He served with the US Army during the Korean War. After his time of service he worked for the PA Rail Road and then for the former Carl Brown Machine Shop, Cameron Manufacturing and then he worked at Pennsylvania Pressed Metals until retirement. He was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and enjoyed 
hunting and fishing.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara, Mrs. Matthew Grimone, Emporium; two grandchildren, Heather and Bre (Shad) Boschert and one great granddaughter, Tatum; one sister, Shirley, Mrs. Paul Pigza, Cleveland, Ohio.

 In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a son, Rick Wilk; grandson, Cash Grimone and three brothers, Frank, William and Jack Wilk.

Graveside Service will be at St. Mark Cemetery Chapel, Route 120, Emporium, PA on Thursday (September 12, 2019) at 3:00 PM with Fr. Justin P. Pino, Pastor, St. Leo Catholic Church, officiating. A Military Service accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail will follow. 

There will be no visitation. 

Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
