Judith A Sherman

 
Judith A. Sherman, 74, of Clover Rest Home, Columbia, New Jersey formerly of Newfield, NY & Emporium, PA, died at St. Lukes Hospital, Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, New Jersey on Wednesday morning. (March 14, 2018)
 
She was born November 1, 1943 in St. Marys, PA a daughter of the late John and Ann Zbailey Malizia. Judy graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1961 and later from DuBois Business College. She retired from Special Childrens Center in Ithaca, NY where she had worked in the finance department for over 22 years. She had been a member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Emporium. She enjoyed crafts, painting, word puzzles, spending time with her grandchildren and her family and friends. She loved eating Hershey Kisses and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.
 
She is survived by a son, Richard "RJ" (Danielle) Sherman, Jr., Washington NJ; two grandchildren: Richard Sherman, III and Kathryn Sherman; one brother, John (Ellen) Malizia, Emporium; one sister, Debra (Gregory) Kovach, Mercer, PA.
 
 She was preceded in death by her parents anda brother, Richard Malizia.
 
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth St., Emporium, PA on Friday (March 23, 2018) from 4-7 PM.
 
Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Saturday (March 24, 2018) at 9:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
 
 Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA
 
Memorial Contributions may be made to Guy and Mary Felt Manor Assisted Living Activity Fund or Franziska W. Racker Memorial Fund at the Franziska Racker Centers. www.rackercenters.org

My beautiful cousin Judy, she will be forever missed.
