Deborah Sue (Penfield) Park

Deborah Sue (Penfield) Park, 62, of Elizabethtown, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend, lost her courageous battle against cancer on January 4, 2018 while surrounded by her family. Born on February 6, 1955, she was the daughter of Sue (Pifer) Penfield and the late Roy Penfield. She was the beloved wife of Martin Park for 32 years.

Deb was a sweet, caring, selfless woman who always thought of others first, saw the good in everything and everyone, and always had hope for the best. Above all she deeply loved her family, especially her husband, Marty, and spending time with her grandsons, Aden and Ethen. She enjoyed traveling to Florida to see her mom, sister, nieces and nephews, and liked to converse with friends and enjoy their company. She also loved cats and dogs and the ones that were part of her life over the years brought her much joy.

In addition to her husband and mother, Deb is survived by her two sons, Daniel Park (Troy Cales) of Philadelphia, Jesse Jones of Elizabethtown; two step-daughters: Stacey Thomas (Michael) of Enola, Jennifer Maiorana (Croce) of Muncy; a sister: Cindy Allen of Deltona, Florida; two grandchildren: Aden and Ethen; and six step-grandchildren: Alexander, Owen, Benjamin, Roman, Salvatore, and Jillian.

In keeping with Deb’s wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022, 717-367-1543.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Deb's memory to Carolyn's House, 1701 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
