Kayak Demo Day with Country Squirrel Outfitters Saturday, July 18 Lake Day Use Area 
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

New to kayaking? Give it a try! Ready to buy your own boat? Learn how to choose the kayak and accessories that are right for you. Country Squirrel Outfitters will have a variety of kayak styles available for your use; stand-up paddleboards too! Expert assistance and basic instruction provided. Hourly informational talks. Stop by anytime between 12:00 and 4:00 PM. 
 Watershoes and shorts are recommended. 

Eagle Watch Saturday, July 18 Lake Day Use Area 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM The young eagles have learned to fly! View the action live through binoculars and high-powered scope with the help of park staff and volunteers. Eagle Watch Area is ADA accessible.

 River Otters in Pennsylvania Saturday, July 18 Campground Amphitheater 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM

River otters are playful mammals that are well adapted to living on both land and water. Learn more about the habits and habitats of river otters and what Pennsylvania is doing to help otters make a comeback in our area. Interactive campground program followed by a 30-minute video, "Otters and Fishers in Pennsylvania". All are welcome to attend this free family program.

Pontoon Boat Tours Sunday, July 19 Lake Day Use Area 10:30 AM, 12:00 PM & 1:30 PM

Join park staff for a relaxing and informative 45-minute tour of the George B. Stevenson reservoir. Reservations are recommended. Boat launch area is ADA accessible. Program is free, but donations are accepted. To reserve a seat on the pontoon boat please call the Park Office & Wildlife Center at 814-647-8401.

 Get Outdoors Loaner Program All Summer Long! Explore Sinnemahoning State Park with the Get Outdoors Loaner program. We provide the equipment. You create the fun! Once again this year, Sinnemahoning State Park is pleased to offer kayaks, canoes, and bicycles for visitors to use while enjoying the park. Life vests, paddles, and helmets are provided. There is no fee for the loaner program, but donations are requested. A photo ID and a valid credit card are required. At least one member of the party must be 18 years or older to sign out equipment. Equipment is available on a first-come, first-served basis, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with 2½ hour time limit per use. All equipment is for in-park use only.
