Leo J. Cummings

 
 
Leo J. Cummings, 71, of 306 W. 6th St., Emporium died at DuBois Regional Medical Center, DuBois on Wednesday (March 6, 2013) morning.

He was born June 13, 1941 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Leo B. and Mary Gabor Cummings.
On July 17, 1971 in St. Mark Catholic Church he married Connie Uplinger Cummings, who Survives.

Mr. Cummings graduated from Cameron County High School in the class of 1961. He served with the US Navy from 1961 to 1965. Leo retired from Emporium Hardwoods where he worked for many years. Years ago he worked at Sylvania. He was a life member of the Miller-Raffaelle Post 6221, VFW and a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Mark Catholic Church
235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 PM. A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Emporium Volunteer Fire Department, 421 N. Broad St., Emporium, PA 15834
