Pennsylvania Department of Aging
Emporium Senior Center was among the centers to receive a portion of $3 million in Senior Community Center grants to fund large and smaller scale improvement projects this year.
The funding is available through the Senior Community Center grant program.
Emporium Senior Center and others like it across the Commonwealth provide older adults with a safe, community-centered place to gather.
Secretary Kavulich was joined by Cameron County Commissioners Jessica Herzing, James Moate and Joshua Zucal; Kim Briggs, Executive Director, Cameron/Elk/McKean Area Agency on Aging; and Don Perry, Board President, Emporium Senior Center.
