Michael W. Catalano, 70, of Emporium, PA passed away at his residence, Emporium, PA on Saturday morning (June 10, 2023). He was born January 22, 1953 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Romie and Rita Hornung Catalano.
Mike graduated, in 1971, from Cameron County High School and then two years later from Williamsport Area Technical School where he received an electrical degree. He retired from GKN where he worked for many years. He was very active with his kids lives and enjoyed time with his close friends. Mike got the most enjoyment from being involved with his children and grandchildren's lives.
He is survived by daughter, Angela Catalano, Emporium; son, Israel Catalano (Stephanie), Mechanicsville, MD; son, Patrick Catalano (Alexandra), Emporium; son, Duncan Catalano, Erie; five grandchildren: Maximillian, Jenna, Taylor, Colson and Roman; a brother, Jeffrey Catalano, Clearfield; two sisters, Susan Catalano, Elizabethtown and Nancy Catalano Dill (Tim McGinnis), Emporium.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Romie and Rita Hornung Catalano.
There will be No Visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the St. Marks Catholic Church, 235 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PA
