Cameron County Farmers Market
Today we would like to welcome our youngest vendor to the market; Kelsie Kearney with her new, craft-oriented business, Hobby Center.
We love it when our young people show an interest in getting involved in the market and at 16, Kelsie is definitely the youngest! Kelsie has come up with some fun ideas and she has been busy crafting away creating a variety of things that she hopes the community will enjoy.
She likes to work with clay and has made some adorable mushrooms that would look cute in any fairy garden. She is also hoping to create her own fairy gardens that you can buy as a whole, great for the young dreamers in your life!
She has designed and created a collection of earrings out of pearler beads, in a variety of colors, perfect for young girls who are lucky enough to have their ears pierced already. She has also made sets of coaster out of the same pearler beads which would add a splash off color to your cold drinks this summer.
A big animal lover herself, she is the proud owner of a giant American White rabbit, Nicholas, and hopes to bring it along to the market so if you fancy a cuddle with a friendly fluff ball this is your chance!
Come out and support our young talent and visit Kelsie this Saturday, June 10th at the Emporium town Square, 9am to 12pm.
Welcome to the market, Kelsie!
The next Farmers Market is this coming Saturday, June 10th in downtown Emporium.
