Cameron County Farmers Market
We are very excited to announce that we will be partnering up with the Cameron County Flea Market coming to town in August!
Denyse Carpio from the Cameron County Mercantile is spearheading this new initiative and will be joining us every second Saturday, August to October, in the Emporium Town Square, 9am to 1pm. They are currently accepting vendor applications, anyone interested in applying can find them through this link: https://www.cameroncountymercantile.com/flea-market
We are also happy to announce that Denyse will be hosting a couple of stalls at our farmers market this Saturday. One will be filled with local artisans' arts and crafts and at the other she will be running a succulent planting workshop.
Denyse and her husband Horacio only moved back to Cameron County a couple of years ago but have made quite the impact already with their Mercantile store in which they sell an eclectic mix of local arts and crafts, collectibles and antiques.
They are passionate about bringing "the vibe" back to Cameron County and we are thrilled to be collaborating with such an innovative and entrepreneurial couple!
What is the Cameron County Farmers Market?
A place for our community to gather to buy and sell fresh produce, local artisan crafts, home-made baked goods and more. Opening officially in 2023 but will be popping up on select weekends this year to give you all a taste of what's to come.
