The Annual Cameron County Outdoor Youth Fishing Event is scheduled for the first day of fishing season April 2, at the Andrews Farm.
Youth 14yrs of age and under will be permitted to fish starting at 8:00am on the opening day of trout season. The pond will be stocked. Refreshments will be served by the usual friendly volunteer staff.
Hamburgers, hotdogs and hot chocolate will be available from 8:00am to 3:00pm.
Everyone is asked to register when you arrive and enter the number of fish caught prior to leaving.
This is important to determine the number of fish for future stockings this spring.
We encourage any single parents or guardians that may not know how to fish or do not have fishing equipment to also bring their child. We will have volunteers on hand to help.

This is a great opportunity to introduce a young person to the lifelong sport of fishing.
We will have the Daisy Inflatable BB gun range and Inflatable S.A.F.E Archery range set up for the youth to use at no cost. Look forward to seeing everyone there.
