Kenneth E. Schuckers, Jr., 52, of 208 Goethe Rd., Bluffton, South Carolina formerly of Emporium, PA died unexpectedly at Aventura Hospital in Aventura, Florida on Wednesday (February 6, 2019).
He was born January 30, 1967 in Rochester, New York son of Kenneth E. and Marian Burgoon Schuckers, Emporium, PA.
Ken graduated from Cameron County High School and served with the US Army, later graduating from Clarion University. He was a Certified Public Accountant with several accounting firms and recently was involved in opening a restaurant with his friends in Miami, Florida. Ken enjoyed Rotary, helping with fundraisers to help children, Tennis, and scuba driving.
In addition to his parents he is survived by a son, Kenneth Dale Schuckers and a daughter, Ana Schuckers, Canton, GA; two sisters, Kristine (Schuckers) Finck, Conneaut Lake, PA and Karey Schuckers, Rohrersville, MD along with several nieces and nephews.
Ken was preceded in death by a sister, Kelley (Schuckers) Hepfner, a Grandmother Clara Burgoon and a Grandfather Kenneth Dale Schuckers.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home Sunday February 17, 2019 from 2-4 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Monday February 18, 2019 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Paul S. Siebert, Pastor, as Celebrant.
A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail following Mass at the Portage Township Cemetery, Gardeau, PA
