Fall Reduction Workshop

“Emporium Senior Center will be hosting a “Fall Reduction Workshop” this March! This program is a statewide initiative to help older adults prevent falls and stay healthy. The workshop will be held Tuesday, March 14th, beginning at 9am.

Before you make a decision about whether or not to participate, here are just a few extra incentives to sway you: 1) Choosing to participate in this program benefits your local senior center. Emporium Senior Center will receive money, simply for hosting this workshop, if we have at least 20 participants. 2)Prize Possibilities: One lucky participant at our center’s workshop will win a door prize valued at around $50! 3) Another lucky participant, from one of 6 senior centers, will win the ultimate prize of a new flat screen television!

Requirements to participate: Must be 60+ years of age and a Resident of Pennsylvania If you are interested in participating, stop at the center sometime Mon-Fri, 8-3pm and we can get you registered. For questions, call the center at 486-3707.”
