Robert W. Akins

Robert W. Akins, 50, of 123 S. Broad St., Emporium, PA died at his residence on Tuesday (February 9, 2016) evening. He was born May 6, 1965 in Williamsport, PA a son of Charles Akins, Emporium and the late Dorothy Bennett Akins. Mr. Akins graduated from Cameron County High School and served with the US Air Force. He worked at GKN in Emporium for several years

. Surviving In addition to his father 2 Sisters: Donna Akins, Emporium and Stella Bish, Mt. Pleasant, PA 1 Brother: Lyle Akins, Emporium 

Preceded in Death By Mother: Dorothy Bennett Akins

There will be No Visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service to be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Friday (February 12, 2016) at 11:00 AM with Rev. James Eastman, Pastor, Deeper Waters Ministries, officiating. 

Burial was in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA
