Fiber Artist Teresa Genaux of Alpaca Creations
will host a Yarn Bash on Friday and Saturday, April 11 and 12 at the Cameron
County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center. Genaux raises alpacas with her
daughter on The Little Red Barn Farm located on Rt. 120 outside of Emporium.
The two women raise, shear and spin the fiber into luxurious yarn that is hand
knitted into clothing.
The Alpaca Yarn Bash will feature yarns spun and dyed by Genaux, plus alpaca
yarns from other farms across Pa, making the product PA Preferred. During the
event on Friday afternoon 1-5 pm and Saturday 9am-1pm a 10% discount and
pattern will be offered on two or more skeins. Natural and dyed colors yarns as
well as kits and hand knitted items will be available.
