Soup For The Soul
Esther’s house is
located behind the Emporium First United Methodist Church Parking Lot.. It is
here we offer to the community “Second Harvest” food program and distribute
groceries every Monday at 4 pm, this program is known as “Food for the Souls”.
We additionally,
offer a community meal on Tuesday evenings (Soup for the Soul) at 5 to 6:30 pm,
this too is free of charge. All days of distribution or meals are subject to
change due to weather and holidays. Everyone is welcome. Volunteers are also
welcome. Sign up sheets are located on site, or you may call the office at
486-0849.
Esther’s also
offers certain times a year “Financial Peace University” a Dr. Dave Ramsey
program, which is a Christian program to teach financial wellness this is
usually held on Thursday evenings at Esther’s.
