Holiday House Tour Tickets on Sale Now
Cameron County Fireworks Committee now selling 2013 Holiday
House Tour Tickets. The $10.00 donation
will be used to bring fireworks to the Weekend in the Wilds event on Saturday
July 5, 2014.
Houses open for touring on Friday December 13, feature
Victorian era homes. The home owned by
Sandra Hornung on West Fourth Street is currently for sale marketed as a
possible bed and breakfast. Neighbors on
East Fifth Street will open their doors.
The Slusarick and Olivett homes are wonderful examples of period architecture
and magnificently restored. The fourth
home is owned by the Ives family on West Sixth Street. This year the Cameron County Chamber of
Commerce & Artisan Center will host an after tour gathering. Light refreshments will be available.
Tickets are available at the chamber office, and Maureen’s Beauty Shop or by calling the chamber
