Margaret E. "Peg" Krellner


Margaret E. "Peg" Krellner, 95, of 1570 Bucktail Road, St. Marys, died peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born November 30, 1917 in Transfer, PA, a daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Gaede Cooney.   On November 24, 1938 in St. Marys Church, she married the late Joseph Krellner, who preceded her in death in 1986.

Peg was a member of Queen of the World Church. She volunteered at the Elk Regional Health Center Re-Sale Shop for more than 40 years. She was an avid bridge player and was a member of 2 bridge clubs. She also enjoyed reading and enjoyed visits from her grandchildren.

 Daughter: Sandra Metzler, St. Marys
 Daughter: Evelyn, Mrs. Bud Krug, St. Marys
 Daughter: Patricia, Mrs. Carl Pfeufer, St. Marys
 Daughter: Susanne, Mrs. Bill Astley, Plattsmouth, NE
 Daughter: Paula, Mrs. Dan Micale, Toby
 Daughter-in-law: Annice Krellner, Emporium
 Son-in-law: Walter Wilson, Kersey
 30 Grandchildren
 21 Great Grandchildren
 2 Great Great Grandchildren

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by:
 Son: Ted Krellner in 2011
 Daughter: Kathy Wilson in 2003
 Sister: Kathryn Cooney in early childhood
 Brother: John Cooney and his wife Genevieve
Son-in-law: Frank Metzler

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at the Queen Of The World Church, 134 Queens Road, St. Marys, on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 12:00 PM with Rev. Michael Ferrick, Pastor, as Celebrant.
Burial will follow in the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home, 151 N. Michael St., St. Marys on Tuesday morning from
 9:30-11:30 AM.

 In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that a bush, flowers or a tree be planted in memory of Peg.
