Our Town features the heritage and spirit of local communities as told by its citizens. Residents use video cameras to show the personalities and places that make their town special to them. The series has highlighted more than fifty communities in the WPSU coverage area since its debut in 1996. This will be the second time Emporium has been featured in this series. The first vidio was filmed in 2001.
It is almost time for the live broadcast of Our Town Emporium! Tune in Thursday, June 7th at 8PM to hear stories from Emporium and all of Cameron County!
Stories include Mountaineer Search and Rescue, the latest production from the Cameron County High School Drama Club, the Little Red Barn Farm, and a tour of Embassy Powdered Metals.
Out-of-town friends and family can watch the show. The show will stream live the night of the broadcast on wpsu.org.
