The Cameron County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center will host a “Folk Jam Gathering” Wednesday February 23. Doors will open at 6 with the music flowing from 7 to 9. Executive director Tina Johns Lorson says, “The chamber is happy to provide a location where musicians can sit in a circle share stories and their love for music.”
Musicians began gathering last fall and plan to continue throughout the year. Beginners to advanced players are encouraged to attend and for those without an instrument bring your singing voice.
