CCHS Students attend seminar at UPB
CCHS Students Travel to Bradford
Several students from CCHS traveled to the Univ. of Pittsburgh at Bradford on Friday, Sept. 10th, 2010. High schools throughout the western part of the 5th Congressional District sent students to attend a government seminar hosted by U.S. Rep. Glenn Thompson in Blaisdell Hall at UPB.
The topic covered was "Government Outreach 2010" and this included a welcome from the university and a presentation on the Pitt-Bradford experience. Guest speakers included Larry Schardt, who is a national resource conservationist and Robb Armstrong, a cartoonist who draws the comic strip "Jump Start" Registration began at 8a.m. and the day concluded with lunch at 1 p.m.
