Obituary

Thomas E. Andrews, 69, of 33 Pioneer Rd., Emporium died at Presbyterian-Univ. Hospital, Pittsburgh on Tuesday afternoon. (January 19, 2010)He was born Aug 24, 1940 in St. Marys a son of the late Urban E and Ella Mae Lily Andrews.On May 19, 1984 in Waterloo, NY he married Linda Agliardo Andrews, who Survives.

Mr. Andrews graduated from Cameron County High School. in the class of 1958. He served with the US Navy. He retired from Caldwell Corporation where he had worked or many years. He was a member of the Loyal Order Of Moose Lodge #368, Emporium, Miller-Raffaele Post 6221 VFW, Knights of Columbus, Emporium Council #990, May Hollow Sportsmens Club and Sinnemahoning Sportsmens Club.

Surviving: In addition to Linda Agliardo Andrews Son: Chadwick B. Shields & wife Melissa, Dagus Mines Son: David S. Shields, Kill Devil Hills, NC3 Grandchildren Justin Greenawalt, Megan Mattivi and Mackenzie Miller. Sister: Jude Hanscom and her husband Emery, Rochester, NY. Sister: Mary Theresa Brenner and her husband Charles, Batavia, NY. Brother: Frank J. Andrews, Rochester. Several: Nieces and Nephews.

He was preceded in Death By: Parents: Urban E and Ella Mae Lily Andrews. A mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Mark Catholic Church, 235 East Fourth Street, Emporium on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Charles R. Schmitt, as Celebrant. A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail. Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Friday from 5-8 PM.

Burial will be in the St. Mark Catholic Cemetery, Emporium, PAMemorial Contributions may be made to American Heart Assoc., 501 Howard Avenue, Altoona, PA, 16601
