The Cameron County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center hosting two artists in September. Both will offer a unique opportunity for students to dabble in different forms of art. The classes are planned for Sunday afternoons.The first class will feature the use of chalk paint on a reusable surface. Chandra Reed is creating a Chalk Club. Students purchase a surface and paint a fall scene on it. Later in the year students return for a winter class and each season a new class is held. The initial cost for the class which includes the surface is $53 (depending on the surface chosen). The class is September 8 at 2pm. The second class is September 15 hosted by Catherine Snyder. A utensil basket will be made by students. The fee is $33 for the class which will be held from 1-6pm.Both classes have limited seats available.
