Joe was born in Emporium, PA, and proudly served in WWII aboard the U.S.S. Gunason DE 795. He was a Penn State Graduate and a retiree of the Eastman Kodak Co. He cherished his wife, Joan, through their 53 years of marriage. His greatest moments of pride and joy came from being with his family and grandchildren, telling jokes, laughing, eating (especially those desserts), and dancing. He was grateful for the company in the recent months of his good friend and companion Sue.

The family gratefully thanks his nurses Bonnie, Cindy, Anne, Everett, Melissa and others & friends and Staff at The Greens of LeRoy. He loved to tell everyone, "And in case you didn't know - my name is Joe".
We will love you forever and ever.

Friends may call Saturday, January 5, 12-2pm, with funeral service immediately following at Leo Bean Funeral Home, 2771 Chili Ave., Rochester NY
In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Alzheimer's Association or the American Heart Association in his memory.
