Leo Joe Blumle, age 84, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 22, 2023 in the Guy and Mary Felt Manor, Emporium.
He was the older brother of Charles "Doc" Blumle of Emporium.
Leo's cremains along with those of his late wife Margaret will be interred in St. Mark Cemetery, Emporium at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Coppersmith-Condon Funeral Home, Emporium.
Leo took great pride in the work he did in Hati after devastating hurricanes ravished the island and he worked with his local church to bring fresh water via a water pipeline that he designed and saved untold lives. He was a remarkable man.
