All Fired Up Kickin Ash Set For Saturday
Cameron County Chamber of Commerce and six competitors ready to heat up downtown Emporium Saturday. The All Fired Up Kickin Ash BBQ Competition returns with competitors serving up lick smacking items that the public can purchase. The yearly event will be held in the town square and residents can expect to see the smokers arriving throughout the week.
Friday night the mystery meat provided by Emporium Food Market will be given to the competitors who will then serve the item to judges Saturday afternoon. The winner will take home $500 cash. “This competition is different than many others since the competitors are expected to sell to the public,” according to chamber executive director Tina Solak. Selling will begin at noon on Saturday. In addition Nam Knights Allegheny Mountain Chapter will be selling beverages Friday night and Saturday.
Old Skool will take to the stage Saturday from 11am to 2pm
