Jean L. Pugh, 53, of 7150 Rt. 120, Truman, PA died at the Golden Living Center, Clarion, PA on Thursday (April 29, 2010) morning following a lengthy illness. She was born Oct. 7, 1956 in DuBois, PA a daughter of the late Fredrick Jackson and Mary Lou Reitz Dunbar.
On May 25, 1985 in Emporium she married Michael B. Pugh, who Survives.
Mrs. Pugh graduated from Cameron County High School. She owned a business in which she crafted homemade Jewelry and sold it. She was a licensed amateur Radio Operator. She was a quilter and crafter. She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed taking her grandchildren camping, riding her horse and gardening. She was a member of the Cameron County amateur Radio Club.

A Funeral Service will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 205 East Fourth Street, Emporium, PA on Monday (May 3, 2010) at 11:00 AM with Rev. Philip W. Sanders, Pastor, officiating.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 PM.
Burial will be in the Sanford Cemetery, Emporium, PA
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Cameron County Ambulance Service, 299 E. Second St., Emporium, PA 15834 or to the charity of the donors choice.

Joanne A. Smith, 72, of 324 W Fourth St., Emporium, PA died at Hamot Medical Center, Erie, PA Friday afternoon. (April 23, 2010)
She was born June 20, 1937 in Crosby, PA a daughter of the late Paul and Ethel Hurd Weidert.
She married Charles Smith, of Emporium who survives.
Mrs. Smith retired from Motor Coil where she worked for many years. Years ago she worked at the Cabin Kitchen as a cook. She was a member of the Abundant Life Tabernacle and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
