Hike Cameron County Returns
Cameron County will celebrate National Trail Days Saturday June 7 by
offering a free hike on Brooks Run. The
6 mile hike will begin at Ridge Road and continue to the cabin at Sinnemahoning
State Park. The hike starts at 1:00pm.
The hike is part of a series of events planned to bring people
outdoors! The day begins with a color
run sponsored by the Keystone Rural Health Center, continues at Sinnemahoning
State Park with demonstrations by Cameron County Chamber of Commerce member
Country Squirrel Outfitters and concludes with the hike led by Nelson Haas.
In 2010 the Cameron County Chamber of Commerce began a hiking series
that continues each year on the first Saturday of June. Anyone wishing to hike should contact the
chamber office for more information.
