Environmental Education Programs for the weekend of July 20 th
Program Title: Reptile Rally
Date: Saturday, July 20 th
Time: 3:00 – 4:30 PM
Location: Environmental Learning Center
Description: This program’s main topic is all things related to snakes, lizards,
skinks, and turtles. Short talk will provide a general overview on each vertebrate
group and stay afterwards to go on a hunt for these critters with the educator!
Program Title: Film in the Forest: Black Bears
Date: Saturday, July 20 th
Time: 8:00 – 9:30 PM
Location: Campground Amphitheater
Description: Did you know that a black bear’s sense of smell is 100 times greater
than a human? Come out and join the park educator and learn some facts about
one of Pennsylvania’s best-known mammals. Short talk followed by a movie—feel
free to bring snacks and a blanket!
Additional Information:
In case of thunder, lightning, or extreme weather conditions programs may be
moved or cancelled.

With a minimum of one week notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard
of hearing are available for educational programs.
